Rya Kihlstedt (born July 23, 1970) is an American actress.〔(Filmography ) in ''The New York Times.''〕 She is known for her role in the 1997 comedy film ''Home Alone 3'', and for recurring roles in television series ''Dexter'' and ''Nashville''. ==Life and career== Kihlstedt was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and is a 1991 graduate of Skidmore College in Theatre Arts. She is of Swedish descent. In 1994, Kihlstedt married actor Gil Bellows They have two children, Ava Emanuelle (born 1999), and Giovanni (born 2001). She is the sister of Oakland-based violinist, Carla Kihlstedt. In 1995, Kihlstedt portrayed Lizzie Elmsworth in the BBC adaptation of Edith Wharton's last novel, ''The Buccaneers''. However, she is best known for portraying Alice, one of the criminals in the comedy ''Home Alone 3'' (1997). In 1998, She starred with Peter Gallagher in the film ''Brave New World''. She appeared in recurring roles on Showtime drama series ''Dexter'' as Dr. Michelle Ross, and on ABC drama series ''Nashville'' as powerful record producer Marilyn Rhodes. As of 2015, she is starring as Erica Kravid on the NBC series ''Heroes Reborn''.
